Pawn is a hard-hitting, high-energy hip-hop rock band out of Toledo, Ohio. They have played with bands such as Kutless, Disciple, Reliant K., Stellar Kart, Dizmas, Stavesacre, Sanctus Real, Kids in the Way, Every Day Sunday, and many others.

Over the years Pawn has been priviledged to place in and win "battle of the bands" competitions such as: 3rd place (out of 136 artists) at the 2006 Connection Event; 1st place at the 2005 Yes FM Battle of the bands; 3rd place at the 2001 WIOT Battle of the bands; as well as placing in many University competitions.

In 2004 Pawn was at the core of a national controversy involving the rights of individuals with religious identities. After two years of fighting, with the support and prayers of Christians across the country and around the world, we are happy to annouce that Pawn has won its case against Rossford Public Schools and has helped to preserve the rights of those who are willing to claim Christ publically. In response to this controversy pawn has launched A New Guard to help offer public high school students the ability to learn and defend their rights to religious expression.

Pawn has also been blessed with the ability to play a 2006 tour in Guatemala and plans on returning in May of 2007.
